Contact Your School District
Whether your a parent or a resident, your letters and calls are extremely important. You have the most access and influence on your school district's policies. Please call, write a letter, fax or e-mail (this is the order of effectiveness and best chance of getting a response) to your school district's policy makers.

If possible, please make 3 contacts: one each to the superintendent, the business manager and the school board president.

For your convenience we have prepared a letter for parents and a letter for residents that you can adapt or use as is.

Please ask for a response, and please contact us if you get one.

You can find contact information for your superintendent here. Contact information for other school personnel and board members is often available at the district's web site or in your phone book. The web site of the Ohio School Boards Association has a convenient directory of links to every school district's web site.

Be A Volunteer
You can make a difference by giving just a half-hour or more of your time, and you can choose the issue that is most important to you: schools and children's health, safer lawns and gardens, or responsible mosquito control. Or you can simply have your name added to our email list to receive regular activist alerts and other news. <we should have a link here where folks can type in their e-mail to go on our member list and a way to collect and save these e-mails>

We frequently need citizens to contact elected and non-elected officials by phone, letters or e-mails as part of our local initiatives.  We also need citizens to help educate community groups, distribute literature or help at fundraisers or at our free educational seminars.

We can give you training, support and resources if you wish to  work with groups or institutions where you are already a member helping to move then toward safer pest control.

Call us for more details at 216-291-3424.
